Yes. Every MANIAX session starts with a safety briefing, followed by coaching throughout your time on the lanes. Follow your AXE-pert’s instructions for a safe and fun throwing session.
Pregnant throwers are welcome too. We recommend speaking with your doctor before booking.
Technique and accuracy count for far more than brute strength. Our AXE-perts teach you how to throw and offer pointers throughout the session, with different axe sizes and weights available.
Our regular axes weigh around 1.3 kg and are made from raw steel. Throw one-handed or two-handed, whichever feels comfortable.
Wheelchair users can also throw while seated. You’ll need enough upper-body mobility to throw unaided, and our lanes accommodate seated throwing positions.
Plans change. Update your numbers through MANAGE MY BOOKING before they lock seven days ahead of your booking. Need a hand? Contact supportcrew@maniax.com.au or call 1300 217 583.
After the seven-day lock, your confirmed number is what you’re booked and charged for because your lanes and AXE-perts have been reserved for your group. If fewer people attend, the price stands, and any prepaid food will still be served.
Got extra warriors joining? Additional throwers are subject to lane availability. Give us at least 24 hours’ notice if the increase requires another lane. For genuine issues on the day, speak with the venue manager.
