At MANIAX, axe throwing is all about technique and accuracy - strength plays only a small role. We offer a variety of axes in different sizes and weights to help each guest find the right fit.
While the activity does require upper body mobility and the ability to throw unaided, it is possible to participate from a seated position. Our throwing lanes can accommodate seated throwers and allow for safe participation from different positions.
We encourage guests with mobility requirements to contact us ahead of their visit so we can do our best to accommodate individual needs and ensure an enjoyable experience.
We proudly support the Companion Card program. If you are accompanying a person with disability and hold a valid Companion Card, you are entitled to free axe throwing.

To qualify, please present your companion card on entry.

Canberra
MANIAX Canberra is located on level 1 with an accessibility entrance located directly to the right of our front door. Simply enter through the sliding glass doors and take the lift on up to Level 1. For assistance, please contact us.
Gold Coast
MANIAX Gold Coast is located on level 1 in the Paradise Centre. Please use the Paradise Centre elevator. For more information about accessibility at Paradise Centre, please click here.
Brisbane CBD
MANIAX Brisbane CBD is located on the basement level of 79 Adelaide Street, with access via Burnett Lane. Enter through the sliding glass doors, turn left, and take the elevator down to Level B1. For assistance, please contact us.

Melbourne CBD
Please enter via the lift at 343 Collins Street. For assisatnce, please contact us.
Abbotsford
Please enter through the rear entrance at 22 Henry Street.
Please call us in advance to advise of your arrival time or, if possible, enter the venue and advise a staff member who can meet all group members at the accessible entrance.
All MANIAX venues are either equipped with accessible toilet facilities or have nearby accessible public bathrooms.
Our venues can be lively, with music, crowd noise and occasional loud cheers. If you or your guest would prefer a quieter experience, we recommend visiting:
Private bookings for groups* with sensory considerations are available between 9am - 12pm. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.

All accredited assistance animals (including Guide Dogs) are welcome at MANIAX venues. Please ensure they remain under your control at all times. We’re happy to accommodate any additional needs you may have, just let our team know in advance.
