Some street parking is available nearby. Leave the car at home and you’re also free to enjoy a hard-earned drink after your session.
Yes. Every MANIAX session starts with a safety briefing, followed by coaching throughout your time on the lanes. Follow your AXE-pert’s instructions for a safe and fun throwing session.
Pregnant throwers are welcome too. We recommend speaking with your doctor before booking.
No. MANIAX welcomes throwers aged 11 years and over. Anyone aged 11–17 needs a responsible adult on site for the duration of their visit, plus a waiver signed by their parent or guardian.
MANIAX requires 1 responsible adult on site for every 15 minors in their care.
Axe throwing is about technique and accuracy rather than brute strength. Regular MANIAX axes weigh around 1.3 kg, and you can throw with one hand or two based on what feels comfortable.
Never thrown before? Your AXE-pert coach will teach you the technique and offer tips as you sharpen your skills. Different axe sizes and weights give you options as you get a feel for throwing.
Yes. Throwers need enough upper-body mobility to throw unaided, and our lanes accommodate seated throwers for safe participation.
