Australian Big Axe Championship
When it comes to the axe, bigger is better, and it doesn't get much bigger than the Australian Big Axe Championship. The winner secures a place at the 2026 IATC Big Axe Tournament.
- Check-in: 8:00am | Practice: 9:00am | Start: 9:30am
- Format: 3–4 seeding games + double elimination
- Scoring: IATF Premier Ruleset. Tiebreakers go straight to clutches, no need to score a bullseye first. On the third attempt, closest to the clutch wins.
- Cost: $100pp

Reign of the Valkyries
Open to any thrower who meaningfully identifies as a trans or cis woman, non-binary person, or other marginalised gender. The winner takes home a bid to the IATC 2026 Slayer Series, and has their name etched into the Valkyrie Trophy.

St Peter's Shield
Where it all began. A homage to St Peters MANIAX, Australia's first axe-throwing venue, this tournament is built for throwers still developing their game. Open to anyone with an average under 55 for the previous 12 months on AxeScores. The winner claims a reserved spot at an equivalent IATC 2027 tournament.

Eligibility: only players with an IATF Premier match average of 55.0 or below (per AxeScores' "Current Year" filter at time of purchase) may enter. No Premier average? Subtract 10 points from your "Current Year" Standard average to check eligibility.
The Kilderkin Classic
All the fun and hijinks of APATC Doubles is back. Dedicated to the memory of Vivian, this tournament channels Kilderkin's commitment to the axe with a Premier ruleset, and his rare spirit with the single party-clutch atop each target. The winning team earns a place at the IATC 2026 Doubles Tournament.

- Format: 3–4 seeding games + single elimination (everyone makes the bracket)
- Scoring: IATF Premier Target + Centred Party-Clutch (the party-clutch is the only active clutch, except during Big Axe tiebreakers)

The Ambi Masters
Ambi throwing makes its MANIAX debut: two axes, one in each hand, thrown simultaneously. It's a skill on the rise, and it's time to test your mettle.

The Grand Slam of the Asia Pacific. The pinnacle of axe throwing in the Southern Hemisphere. This is your shot at being crowned Best Down Under, with your name etched onto the APATC Trophy for all eternity. Seeding matches lead into a full double elimination, with the top four automatically qualifying for IATC 2026 Wilson Cup Round 2.
