When practising in single lanes, the following throwing styles cannot be thrown: Underhand, 1.5 rotation and double rotation. Skill shots can be practised on league nights during practice time or skills nights arranged by the venue staff.
You must follow the instructions of the venue staff at all times.
You are responsible for using our equipment correctly. If you are not sure how to use any of our equipment, please ask our staff before you use it.
Note that you will be responsible for any damage that you cause through a wilful act or negligence.
MANIAX is a friendly environment and whilst we encourage you to get competitive, we have zero tolerance for aggressive, anti-social, abusive or otherwise unsafe behaviour. Any spectator or participant showing signs of this type of behaviour will be asked to leave the premises immediately, without refund.
If a MANIAX crew member identifies non-compliance with our behaviour/alcohol/drug policy prior to or during a session, this person/s will be required to leave immediately. All booked participants will be charged in this instance and it is at discretion of the remainder of the group as to whether they continue their session or also wish to leave.
No food or drink is to be brought onto the premises at any time, with the exception of birthday cakes.
Pets are welcome but must be under supervision by their owner at all times. Aggressive or anti-social behaviour exhibited by your pet will require their immediate removal. You will be responsible for cleaning up after your pet.
All participants are required to wear closed toed shoes.
We do not allow clothes with offensive images or inappropriate advertising.
MANIAX League is sanctioned by the International Axe Throwing Federation, participants must adhere to the IATF rules of play and IATF Code of Conduct. Failure to do so could result in expulsion from the league, and future participation in MANIAX and possibly IATF leagues and tournaments.
Failure to respect the venue, the staff or the rules will result in Season or Annual Passes being cancelled without refund.
Minimum Term: 12 months
League start times may differ venue to venue.
It is at the discretion of the venue staff where league practice can take place.
Annual Passes may be paid in full upfront or weekly by direct debit.
If your payment fails, you will be sent an email notifying you of the failed payment. If the fee has not been paid after 3 notices, your Annual Pass will be suspended immediately.
You must ensure that the payment method is valid for the length of your agreement. If the details you give us fail, you are liable for all resulting fees and to complete your minimum term (12 months).

No refunds for unused Annual Pass. All requests must be put in writing to the League Manager and we may issue credit on a case by case basis for serious impairment that prevents participation (e.g. serious injury or medical condition)
Annual Pass holders are entitled to 1 Standard Session per week.
Standard Sessions are available 7 days, excluding Fridays 5pm-9pm and Saturday 2pm - 9pm.
Standard Sessions must be booked in advance via the MANIAX website.
No back to back bookings allowed.
Venue staff hold the right to assign lanes to Annual Pass holders.
You must be at least 15 years old to become a MANIAX Annual Pass holder. If you are aged 15-17, a parent or guardian must sign your membership agreement and participant agreement on your behalf. Please note that MANIAX Annual Pass holders under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian onsite while they are in the venue.
Participants between 11- 14 will be considered on a case by case basis.
