LEAGUE TERMS AND CONDITIONS‍

LEAGUE PARTICIPATION

All participants in the League must adhere to all Booking, Entry and League Terms and Conditions: maniax.com.au/terms-and-conditions

When practising in single lanes, the following throwing styles cannot be thrown: Underhand, 1.5 rotation and double rotation. Skill shots can be practised on league nights during practice time or skills nights arranged by the venue staff.

ANNUAL PASS 

Annual Pass holders are entitled to 1 Standard Session per week. Standard Sessions are available 7 days, excluding Fridays 5pm-9pm and Saturday 2pm - 9pm. Times may differ venue to venue. Standard Sessions must be booked in advance via the MANIAX website.

Bookings open 72 hours prior to the Standard Session time.

No back to back bookings allowed.

Failure to respect the venue, the staff or the rules will result in Annual Passes being cancelled without refund.

Venue staff hold the right to assign lanes to Annual Pass holders. It is at the discretion of the venue staff where league practice can take place.

General Annual Pass Use

• Annual Pass benefits are non transferable. Bookings using codes must be made by a pass holder and not on behalf of others. Codes must not be shared, and any misuse of discount codes and benefits could result in suspension or termination of membership.

Payment

• Minimum 6 month commitment. Requests for cancellation after the minimum 6 month term must be made in writing to the League Manager.
• No refunds for unused Annual Pass. All requests must be put in writing to the League Manager and we may issue credit on a case by case basis for serious impairment that prevents participation (e.g. serious injury or medical condition) if within the minimum term (6 months).
• Annual Pass holders may request a suspension of membership for up to 8 weeks (or 1 season) - requests must be made in writing to the League Manager.
• In the instance where MANIAX cannot provide any leagues on all nights, memberships will be refunded from the start of that season.

Cancellation

• If you commence the MANIAX Annual Pass and cancel within two weeks, you can pay an administration fee of $100, plus the cost of the first two weeks of your membership. 
• After the initial two week joining period, Annual Passes include a minimum 6 month commitment. Requests for cancellation after the minimum 6 month term must be made in writing to the League Manager.
• MANIAX does not offer refunds for unused Annual Pass after the initial two week joining period. We may issue credit on a case by case basis for serious impairment that prevents participation (e.g. serious injury or medical condition) if within the minimum term (6 months).

MINIMUM AGE

You must be at least 15 years old to become a MANIAX Annual Pass holder. If you are aged 15-17, a parent or guardian must sign your membership agreement and participant agreement on your behalf. Please note that MANIAX Annual Pass holders under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian onsite while they are in the venue.

Participants between 11- 14 will be considered on a case by case basis.

BEHAVIOUR POLICY

You must follow the instructions of the venue staff at all times.

You are responsible for using our equipment correctly. If you are not sure how to use any of our equipment, please ask our staff before you use it.

Note that you will be responsible for any damage that you cause through a wilful act or negligence.

MANIAX is a friendly environment and whilst we encourage you to get competitive, we have zero tolerance for aggressive, anti-social, abusive or otherwise unsafe behaviour. Any spectator or participant showing signs of this type of behaviour will be asked to leave the premises immediately, without refund.

If a MANIAX crew member identifies non-compliance with our behaviour/alcohol/drug policy prior to or during a session, this person/s will be required to leave immediately. All booked participants will be charged in this instance and it is at discretion of the remainder of the group as to whether they continue their session or also wish to leave.

No food or drink is to be brought onto the premises at any time, with the exception of birthday cakes.

Pets are welcome but must be under supervision by their owner at all times. Aggressive or anti-social behaviour exhibited by your pet will require their immediate removal. You will be responsible for cleaning up after your pet. 

All participants are required to wear closed toed shoes. 

We do not allow clothes with offensive images or inappropriate advertising.

MANIAX League is sanctioned by the International Axe Throwing Federation, participants must adhere to the IATF rules of play and IATF Code of Conduct. Failure to do so could result in expulsion from the league, and future participation in MANIAX and possibly IATF leagues and tournaments.
